The main character of Teardown works for a company whose debts are increasing day by day. Problems with timely payment and the need to secure an additional source of income force him to cooperate with more and more suspicious people and execute more or less illegal orders. Over time, the protagonist becomes a skilled thief who is not afraid to steal cars and blow up safes, as well as destroy entire buildings.
The pillars of the game
In Free Teardown, we observe the action from the point of view of the first person (FPP). The mainstay of the game is to make jumps, each of which requires you to come up with a plan to enter a building or complex and then reach the precious “loot”. Of course, we must also take care of an escape route – when we pick up the object that is the target of the jump, an alarm sounds, forcing us to flee the crime scene.
One of the basic mechanics used by the player is the ability to influence the shape of the environment. We can interact with various objects (for example, arrange chests in such a way that we can access a higher place) and destroy almost everything on the map. For the latter, we use various tools that are unlocked as you progress – from hammer, to vehicles, to explosives.
Graphic design
Teardown torrent has eye-catching voxel graphics. Everything is kept in a relatively realistic style and enriched with attractive lighting (the game uses ray tracing). Also noteworthy is the physics engine that ensures the realistic behavior of liquids, fire, smoke and collapsing walls. You might also like the sound – Tuxedo Labs production uses Path Tracing technology to create realistic sound simulation.
In Teardown we can only play solo. In addition to the story campaign, the sandbox mode (where you can play in various environments without having to look at the imposed targets). Well as the creative module (allowing you to create your own maps) are waiting to be tested. Although the Teardown pc game version debuting in Early Access does not support mods, the developer has announced the implementation of this feature in the future. The plans include, among others Map editor and Steam Workshop integration.
At the end of October last year, Teardown was released as part of Steam Early Access. Tuxedo Labs’ production quickly impressed gamers. They liked, among other things, the enormous possibilities of environmental destruction, which were achieved through the use of voxel-based graphics, that is, specific “three-dimensional pixels”, which are also present in the hit Minecraft, for example. Today, after almost six months of development, the reception of the title has not changed much. In the past 30 days, more than 1,000 of its reviews have appeared on the Valve platform, 91% of which are positive.

Although recent results obtained by Teardown free Download can be enjoyed by the Tuxedo Labs team, there is still a lot of work ahead of them.
