Yes, you read that right – these are former brand developers who now compete with the current WWE 2K.
And not just any, because we are talking about a team that has been working on wrestling since the year 2000, when they released WWF SmackDown! on the PS1 console. Their full involvement in the series ended with WWE 2K18, as they then helped out in WWE 2K19 and then didn’t have the pleasure of working on the final three installments. So it looks like they’ve got it into their heads to show the current squad that they know how to do it even better.
So we have experienced developers and a renowned license – the basis for potential success is already in place. Now it remains to do it right and fill in the content. Well, there’s no denying that it’s been done – especially given the multitude of possibilities available. The creators put in our hands simple confrontations (where we can face the computer or just a friend on the sofa next to it), online battles, participation in totally “branded” PPVs, as well as a Career mode, which could not be missed.
On top of that, of course, we can count on a full license for the graphics and all the wrestlers we know well from the events organized by AEW. We therefore have no shortage of personalities such as Deam Ambrose, Kenny Omega, Britt Baker, CM Punk or Jeff Hardy. So there is plenty to choose from and in this respect there is absolutely nothing to complain about. We took care of the quantity of content.
What about the quality in AEW Fight Forever Free Download ?
Well, the problems start when we start playing the different modes and testing the different wrestlers. It’s fun and enjoyable, but unfortunately not for long. Things get pretty repetitive and monotonous quickly. Let’s start maybe with the Career mode, because it plays an important role in this type of games. Here we can of course create our own wrestler. I’m not a person who spends a lot of time in creators, and in AEW Fight Forever Full Version, it went pretty well for me, because we’re not talking about anything extremely detailed.
We can also choose a wrestler from the full roster and then walk through their career – from promising young wrestler to organization champion. Well, it looks good, but unfortunately the game suffers in comparison to WWE 2K. The competition does better in this regard. There are a lot of unplanned activities, more interesting UI and more side missions. AEW Fight Forever Download is sometimes a little too generic.
Another element that I think is the game’s biggest flaw, doesn’t help either – most wrestlers fight very similarly. Of course, by choosing wrestlers who are very different in size, we will feel that their fighting styles are different, but unfortunately this is not very noticeable. Also, with those who look alike physically, it can feel like using the same wrestlers, but with different looks.
Unfortunately, this is detrimental to immersion. What I miss is being able to feel total freedom playing with Jeff Hardy and being able to fly in the ring. Instead, it doesn’t differ much from CM Punk or Matt Hardy. You don’t feel the differences, you don’t feel the force of the blows and the intensity of the clashes – even the automatic replays after iconic actions don’t really help. The blood, flowing in the ring, also looks artificial. Even older games did this more convincingly.

Conclusion on AEW Fight Forever Free Download
During the hours I spent playing this game, I couldn’t help but have one specific thought. The game itself does indeed look like WWE 2K, but from six years ago. And while it happened before the biggest dip in form the wrestling game series has seen, it feels slightly archaic today. Especially compared to the very good edition of this year, WWE 2K23 Download.
It might even feel like the developers have such fond memories of their work on the latest WWE that they drew too much inspiration from it when creating AEW Fight Forever Download. And they’ve done it in too many ways. It’s certainly not a bad game, and when it debuted two years ago it might have scared the competition as a strong new player in the market, but now…I don’t think it can really impress.
Wrestling for insiders
I don’t want to be misunderstood in any of this. AEW Fight Forever Free Download pc game is not a bad game. Nor is it something that can be parodied by saying „we have WWE 2K at home…”. It’s simply an enjoyable project that may appeal to the biggest fans of the organization itself. For others… Well, maybe as a new experience and at least with around thirty percent sale. Otherwise, I advise you to stick with WWE 2K.
I’m even going to take it a step further – it’s a project that’s definitely focused on the arcade style rather than simulating real wrestling events. There are nice little touches, there are a few modern solutions, but in the end we get a game that feels like a tribute to the classic releases over a decade ago. Versions where the graphics or the fluidity of the fights in the ring had less importance than the simple pleasure of fighting between the ropes. It’s not perfect, but it’s far from a bad game.
