“First” didn’t make much of a splash around it, but the game still sold over a million copies. Creating the sequel was therefore a matter of time – it was solely up to the creators to decide whether they wanted to do it along the line of least resistance, or whether they decided to approach the task a little more ambitiously. Fortunately, SMG Studio and DevM Games opted for the latter! Even so, Moving Out 2 Free Download doesn’t shake up the main assumptions of the series, and indeed – at first glance – the two productions look confusingly similar. However, it’s enough to spend at least an hour with this title to see how the mechanics have evolved.

The sequel focuses once again on the “furniture relocation specialists” known as F.A.R.T.(*) to restore Smooth Moves to its former glory. To keep the business running, we have to accept all kinds of orders that have nothing to do with normal work and compliance with health and safety regulations. What’s more, this time we’re not confined to the town of Packmore, as there’s also interdimensional travel to distant worlds (if you follow trends, that’s all the way!), where other laws apply. The whole thing is kept in a comic tone, and although sometimes the jokes are very grating, many of them can make you laugh.

FROM ORDER TO ORDER

The gameplay has been divided into a series of very short missions, for which we get stars. If you’ve played the Overcooked series or Polish Tools Up! you’ll be very familiar with this fun motif. Each level is time-limited, so in Moving Out 2 PC Download complete version, there’s not much room for figuring things out and coming up with complex tactics. When the countdown starts, you have to rush to complete the task as quickly as possible – even if that means throwing goods from the top of a building through a broken window … To complete the task, we receive five to six medals, although only two objectives are revealed at the outset. We get information on the next challenges once the move has been completed, which encourages (or rather obliges…) us to repeat the same steps.

I understand why the creators decided to do this, although I don’t approve – I see no value in it, just an artificial extension of playtime. I’d rather know right away what to focus on during the mission than try to tick off all the instructions on the first try. Although I generally didn’t mind, some cards proved so tedious (exceptional cases) that repeating them was very frustrating and discouraged further enjoyment. Fortunately, Moving Out 2 Download campaign is non-linear and gives you a great deal of freedom in your choice of tasks, so you can breathe a sigh of relief by jumping into another dimension to make a few moves.

WORKING IN DIFFICULT CONDITIONS

I’m very impressed with the developers’ level design creativity. We start with relatively standard apartments and houses, but after a while we find ourselves in a heavenly city with cloud-filled apartments or a land made of candy, where we have to destroy gingerbread walls in order to unlock passages to the next rooms. SMG Studio and DevM Games didn’t stop at an interesting presentation of different environments – each location offers players completely unique challenges linked to its characteristics.

In Smaczków, we have at our disposal m. conveyor belts to transport chocolate products and slingshots for rubber balls, which we throw into the basket, while in Kartonopolis, we use drones to fly over abysses and avoid a powerful windmill trying to blow our character off the building’s roof. Of course, these are just two of many examples – I assure you, there’s no shortage of crazy ideas here, and you’ll be surprised by new solutions right up to the very end.

Gameplay is also diversified by the variety of objects provided. In addition to the standard boxes with knick-knacks, TVs and other items, we sometimes carry delicate perishable materials, and even lead a chicken or cow to the farm. Most things can be lifted easily on their own, but heavy loads require two players – unless you don’t mind struggling slowly with a huge sofa. And if you do mind, but don’t have any companions to play with, you can use a special assisted mode.

With it, you’ll make the game a lot easier, for example by reducing the weight of bulky objects, lowering the difficulty level or extending the time limit. It’s a really cool option – thanks to it, you don’t have to worry about getting stuck at a certain stage of your career. It’s also a great addition for kids new to gaming, and the basic pace of free Moving Out 2 Free Download would be too overwhelming for them. As I mentioned, the assisted mode has also been prepared for solo players, who have a slightly more difficult task. However, I wouldn’t recommend playing this title alone, as then it loses its charm and starts to become tiresome rather quickly – in which case, it’s best to limit yourself to short sessions.

The essence of the production is the cooperation of up to four users. If you manage to get a full set of players, only then will the real rollercoaster ride begin! However, if you want to complete the move as quickly as possible, it’s best to do so with two players, because with four, the balance of the game is slightly disturbed and turns more towards chaotic, madcap fun, not the achievement of objectives.

And finally, the real bombshell so eagerly awaited by fans of the previous installment – Moving Out 2 Download can finally be played online! It’s a shame that the production doesn’t have an open lobby, as not everyone has friends interested in this kind of work. Perhaps the next version will change that? Time will tell, and now I fall to carry the dimensions.
